Desmond and Molly Jones, or DMJ as we’re sometimes known, began over 20 years ago. We’ve been busy looking after Sydney’s best hair and continue to evolve our offering, specialising in technically sound cuts and colour.

Our guests consider their hair to be part of their personality and the ultimate accessory so we offer them the highest level of hair service, but we also keep it real with our down to earth approach.

Headed up by Leonard Newton, who’s experience includes years with global greats, Vidal Sassoon, Tony&Guy and evo and backed by a team of talented cutters and colourists, we service our clients from our beloved Surry Hills salon, but we don’t stop there…

We‘re involved in editorial work, hold the occasional workshop and Leonard is often found developing new hair care lines and progressing traditional techniques.
